  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Combine BBQ sauce, honey, vinegar, Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Stir until smooth.
  4. Pour sauce over chicken.
  5. Coat chicken with sauce.
  6. Cover the crockpot.
  7. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  8. Check chicken for doneness.
  9. Shred chicken in the crockpot.
  10. Stir shredded chicken into the sauce.
  11. Serve as desired.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
