Method
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Sprinkle taco seasoning over the chicken.
- Pour salsa and water/broth over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is easily shredded.
- Remove chicken from the crockpot and shred with two forks.
- Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir to coat with the sauce.
- Serve in taco shells or tortillas with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider browning the chicken breasts before adding them to the crockpot.
