Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin.
- Mash bananas, stir in melted butter, vanilla, baking soda, and salt.
- Add sugar, then fold in flour and baking powder.
- Mix in walnuts or chocolate chips if using.
- Spoon batter into muffin cups and bake for 18-20 minutes.
- Cool muffins before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg.
