Method
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, and stir to combine. Add thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Bring sauce to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in lemon juice and garlic for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
