Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1 Ibs boneless chicken cut into small pieces
Sauce
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar optional for extra stickiness
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chili flakes optional
Garnish
  • Cooked rice
  • Green onions
  • Sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Cut chicken into small pieces.
  2. Warm oil in skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook chicken until lightly browned.
  4. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Combine soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, and rice vinegar.
  6. Pour sauce over chicken and simmer until thickened.
  7. Lower heat and cook until sauce is sticky.
  8. Taste and adjust sweetness or saltiness.
  9. Scoop warm rice into bowls.
  10. Top with chicken, green onions, and sesame seeds.
