Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet ingredients
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Additional
  • 1 cup honey

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease muffin tin.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Whisk wet ingredients in another bowl.
  4. Combine wet and dry, stir until just blended.
  5. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake 15-20 mins.
  6. Cool briefly before removing from tin.
