  • 0.25 cup chicken broth or water

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Combine olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme.
  4. Rub the olive oil mixture all over the chicken.
  5. Place the chicken in a baking dish.
  6. Pour chicken broth or water into the bottom of the pan.
  7. Bake for 60-75 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
