Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet ingredients
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add-ins
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare muffin tin.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Whisk wet ingredients separately.
  4. Combine wet and dry, then fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Spoon batter into muffin cups and bake 18-20 mins.
  6. Cool muffins before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the dry ingredients.
