Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
Strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped
Applesauce
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Chopped Nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line muffin tin.
  2. Mix mashed bananas, applesauce, yogurt, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Combine dry ingredients and add to wet mixture, stirring gently.
  4. Fold in strawberries and nuts (if using).
  5. Divide batter into muffin cups and bake 18-20 minutes.
  6. Cool briefly before transferring to wire rack.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of cinnamon on top before baking.
