Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet ingredients
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 ripe banana banana, mashed
  • 1/2 cup milk (or milk alternative)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Combine applesauce and mashed banana.
  4. Add milk and stir until smooth.
  5. Mix wet and dry ingredients, then fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, cool before serving.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for extra sweetness and flavor.
